Episcopal Youth Event 2023

Every three years, the Episcopal Church convenes an international youth event so “that the energy of the youth of the Episcopal Church can continue to be utilized in active ministry as members of the Body of Christ.” (General Convention Resolution #1982-D079)

The theme for EYE23 is Regreso A Casa:A New Age of Faith.

EYE23 is geared for youth in grades 9-12 during the 2022-2023 academic year and their adult leaders.

The event will take place on the campus of the University of Maryland, July 4-8, 2023.  We will also gather with other youth from Province 3 (P3) on July 3rd for a tour of the National Cathderal (hopefully) and dinner in Baltimore. Travel details will be dicussed with the registrants.

The cost of the event is $460.00, which includes all EYE23 programming, dinner on Monday, all meals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and traditional dorm lodging for five nights. The Diocese will be subsidizing the majority of the cost and each participant is only asked to pay $75 to attend the event.

After registering, four forms will be required from every youth and chaperone participant: Health & Medical Form, Release Form (including documentation of up-to-date Covid vaccination), Contact Form, and Community Covenant of Behavior. These forms will be emailed directly to the registrants once they become available.
